The City of Dongtan

You may never have heard of it, but in 2005 China announced and presented its template and blueprint for a future urban design which was an eco-city called Dongtan and it has then been sparking many tourists’ desire to travel China despite the fact that the city is still just a city drawn on paper. Set on an island juxtaposed the famous Shanghai, Dongtan was built to be a city to love nature, and a city tat nature will love in return, this is because Dongtan is the first ever eco and sustainable city. It wasn’t just a sustainable city, it was also a very ambitious city, to run and produce its own renewable energy which will be made possible in more than a few ways such as the free energy from the sun or solar power using solar panels. Another source of renewable energy is the wind; Dongtan was designed to use its limitless power through wind turbines and windmills to convert wind into raw and renewable energy. Another said source of renewable energy Dongtan shall employ upon its sustainable empire are bio-fuel power and the energy from recycling the city’s own wastes. Tiananmen Square: The Forbidden City

Most people that travel China have quite a few things in mind such as: go to Beijing and visit the Great Wall of China; go to Shanghai and have taste of fine and luxurious living; and try authentic Chinese cuisine. The Peking Man Museum at Zhoukoudian

I can probably fill out a whole roll of toilet paper if I were to list the things you can do in China as a tourist but apparently I am all out of full rolls, but one of the things on the list would be to go to the Peking Man Museum at Zhoukoudian.
